Barbara Holmes is one of only a handful of qualified Buteyko practitioners in the UK and has been personally trained by Alexander Stalmatski, the Russian expert who brought the Buteyko Method to the Western World, and Dr Vladimir Soukhonossov, an expert in teaching the Buteyko Method to children. She has recently set up a clinic in St Albans, Hertfordshire, where people suffering from a wide variety of breathing-related conditions can receive individual tuition in the Buteyko Method.
